For Lennart, the combination of loving the trade and having finance & marketing skills at his fingertips has been essential. It’s meant he was able to turnaround a beautiful but unsuccessful cocktail bar, leave his footprint in the UK, Belgium, South Africa and the US, and become owner of the Stockroom, winner of the best cocktail bar in 2019. He’s been responsible for the drinks at numerous high-end festivals such as the Dutch festivals ‘Down the Rabbit Hole, Into the Great White Open and Eurosonic.

In his role as consultant, he’s responsible for 90% of the high-end cocktail menus in the hospitality sector in the north of the Netherlands. He’s now also co-owner of Boel, a hip jeu de boules bar, and co-owner of the brand activation agency, Boilermaker. With The Boilermaker Group, Lennart builds and develops brands putting them in the right place in the market, at the right time, for the right people. It’s a lot to do with networking, a skill that was brought home to him during his studies and that he really has made his own – as his successes and awards show.
